In addition, there was very little specifics on how he is going to achieve these goals. What are the underperforming programs he will cut? What are these reforms that will improve the schools? Etc.

Independent here. That's just terrible logic and you are making a massive stereotype against all GOP candidates because of that fool we have up in office. I'm for anyone who is going to be looking out for Montgomery County. I could care less about their party.

Has he renounced the hate? Is he taking money from the machine that is raising money off of that hate? Without some clear indications that he isn’t part of the problem, I’m not voting for him. A “red wave” in MoCo isn’t going to solve a single problem we have here.

I didn't realize the R party is a party of hate. I would say there's a lot of hate going around right now from both sides though. Regardless, Amatetti is an upstanding guy and hasn't been involved in that hate,- he doesn't have to do crap to make anyone feel better nor should he apologize for certain people. You do you though- you have every right to vote all Dems regardless of their qualifications and their ability to do the job. I'm hoping that more people are sensible and will actually look at the individual (not party) and make an informed decision based on who is going to be on the look out for MOntgomery county. I want good schools, jobs, and improved transportation; and I'm going to make my decisions based on that- R, D, I or whatever.

Different poster. It is. Even the British magazine the Economist recently reported on it. The GOP reputation is now global.
