How many retrievals before you found that one egg?

| When you look at your records for LH levels in your cycle, what days are you looking at? 34 would actually be normal if it's your LH surge around Day 12 give or take a day or so, which triggers your body to mature and release an egg. 4 is good. Does SG measure LH throughout your stim cycle now? They didn't when I was there. They relied on progesterone to tell when you were going to ovulate instead of LH. Keep us posted on your embryo report! |

| Yesterday they retrieved 24 eggs, 19 were mature and 13 fertilized. |

So odd that Shady Grove didn't call to tell me what happen with the embryos on day 2 but told me to come in for a day three transfer. Headed in the there now.

Three embryos transferred. 8 cell and two 7 cells with 30% frag. She is suggesting not to do ICSI next time. She is adamant that my husbands perfect looking swimming acting sperm are what’s the problem.
Anyone try conventional and not do ICSI? |

| I have read something online in a forum about someone who had a doctor that believed that when sperm were an issue, ICSI was actually not a great solution precisely because you can't really see what's going on at the DNA level. He wanted these types of patients to do conventional fertilization because there is something about it that mimics the natural process where the sperm weed themselves out by competition and the best sperm are the ones that are actually able to complete the fertilization on their own. PICSI is an attempt to duplicate this natural process, by selecting out only those that have good binding. Not doing ICSI is an interesting theory that makes some sense to me. Give it a try and good luck with your transfer! Did you only have 3 that survived to today, or are there others that you are attempting to grow out to blast? |

| 5! The first no eggs fertilized (no ICSI) so I lost 19 eggs!! And got OHSS. The next 3 I produced minimal or crap eggs. New doctor, new protocol with testosterone and estrogen priming - 13 high quality eggs wICSI 7 embryos. Waited a few months did a FET. Finally worked |

| I’ve done three cycles and got lots of eggs but never had a normal blast. All three times my protocol was BCP to suppress, then Gonal F and Menopur, Cetrotife, Ovidrel trigger. Would be so grateful to hear more about PP’s successful new protocol! |
