Where’s Nathan Bacall? Re: Rehiring of Fired School Leaders

Zaki is actually at Thurgood Marshall. Interestingly enough his name has been removed from the website. Now only the Assistant Head of School is listed with the other leaders. Too bad for them he tweets about the school. A serious giveaway.

I'm currently looking into grade inflation allegations and complaints at Public Charter Schools - different than the ones mentioned here.

Ok. They were not publicly fired. All principals involved were allowed to resign. The top 5 principals that had issues were Anacostia, Ballou, Eastern, Dunbar and Woodson.
Anacostia was allowed to resign and rehired at a charter
Ballou was allowed to resign and rehired at a charter
Eastern is still employed with DCPS
Dunbar was allowed to resign and rehired at a charter
Woodson resigned and now an Asst Sup in another school district.

Excellent info! Which leads to another issue. Some of them most definitely should've been fired. DCPS had more than enough information and cause to fire the Dunbar principal long before the story of him changing attendance records over 10,000 times was publicized. The things he got away with would've never flown in another school system. But DCPS likes leaders who lack integrity and keep them on to do their bidding. That's why they don't fire them. They don't want the principals to reveal how complicit the school system is.

How about the people who asked these principals to "do their bidding" leave/get fired/resign! Pinder had his own scandals, left DCPS and came back in an EVEN HIGHER POSITION.

And how would you know who "definitely should've been fired"? How do you know HE changed the attendance records or what he actually did at those schools? You likely didn't have a student at any of the schools in question here or that he may have previously worked for. Did you work there?
