Yes to all of that. You do you. Anyone who thinks otherwise is someone with serious control issues. You don't get to decide what other people eat -- unless they're children. You don't get to force your exercise regimen on other people. This holds particularly true if you're a SAHM who spends all day at the gym who is yelling at some poor dude who works fifty or sixty hours a week that when he gets home he needs to work out. In that case, he should yell back and tell you to earn some money, read a book, etc. |
| Would you like it if someone decided to 'help' you to do something -- like get a raise, finish your degree, etc. You're not helping anyone lose weight, you're nagging. |

Why can't you exercise together? Go swimming together at an indoor pool, sign up for a gym membership, etc.
Take a spin class together. That way you have no excuses b/c you paid for the class and there is a set time/place. It makes you both more accountable that way. |
| My DH is on the fast track to type 2 diabetes just like his dad who got it at 42. He knows it, and yet still gets those double quarter pounders and large fries with a large Coke Zero. I hope it’s worth it. I’m tired of telling him the health risks, do it for the kids, do it for yourself, I’m not attracted to you, etc.. |
Don't even bother. Nobody loses weight bc somebody else wants them to. |
