| Why did FCPS take off their tweet on this? |
What did it say? |
| Something about them rushing to the scene. |
| A child with special needs severe enough to need special transportation could have had any kind of medical incident unrelated to the heat or the bus driver/aide. So horrible. |
|
Hmm, how about some facts: https://wjla.com/news/local/fairfax-county-school-bus-death-investigation
Bus was mid-route when boy had a medical emergency, bus driver pulled over, driver or aide started doing CPR while dispatcher called 9-1-1. This is a terrible tragedy, but let’s not compound it by engaging in ugly innuendo without foundation. |
| So terrible. |
| 21:42 Thank you for the information. Devastating for all involved. |
| "Medical emergency" can mean anything. |
No, it can’t. |
| As a type I diabetes parent this is pretty much my worse nightmare... |
|
Or maybe an allergic reaction? (Peanuts?)
|
As a parent of a kid with severe asthma, I agree. Friends with kids with epilepsy would say the same thing. |
Thank you. Everything does not need to be someone's fault FFS. |

Odd that so little has been released about this. Age of child, etc.
2 pm is an odd time for a child to be on a school bus. |
Lots of reasons were given for this upthread. I don't think they will release any more information due to privacy concerns. |
