any info on whether kids can get the H1N1 vaccine while on antibiotics?

| I think it is fine because my son had a cold which turned into a sinus infection. They wrote him a prescription for antibiotics and also gave him the booster shot at the same appointment. Said it wasn't a problem. |

The DC clinic didn't want to give my husband the vaccine while he was on antibiotics and told him to come back in a week.
It's no longer an issue as he was diagnosed with H1N1 on his last day of antibiotics. |

| My 4 year old daughter was put on Amoxicillin due to an ear infection. A week later she got the H1N1 vax. Now she is covered head to toe with a rash that resembled chicken pox. Doctor says it's not Chicken pox but an allergic reaction to Amoxicillin. My daughter has taken Amoxicillin before with no side effects. Any thoughts? |

| If it's like other allergies, sometimes you don't have a visible reaction with the first exposure. |
