I'm 50 and my oldest is 16.

My mom was 39 when her oldest was 16. She was 44 when that child got married! I am 50 and cannot imagine having paid for college AND a wedding 6 years ago!

Ok this is a bit convoluted but my mother was

23 when she had me, 35 when I was 12 (age of my oldest)
she was 43 when she had my sister and 55 when my sister was 12.

I was 37 when I had my first child.
