MIL is taking me out for a lobster dinner tonight. DH is out of town, and I'm in the process of cooking her grandchild.

Yuck. Cooked grandchild sounds awful. Is it boxed or real?

DS requested pumpkin soup, so we sacrificed one of our Halloween pumpkins to add the flesh into my chicken/veggies soup base I had made and frozen previously. Also added chopped celery. Put it through the mixer for DS.

Pumpkin soup won't be enough, so will have to add something - maybe Trader Joe's battered halibut.

Dinner last night, miso udon noodle soup with bok choi and snow peas. Accompanied with eggrolls.

last night made:

Moroccan Chicken (chicken thighs cooked in olive oil with onions, garlic, moroccan spices, prunes and cinnamon) with brown rice.

tonight:

salmon baked with mustard, sweet potato mash, sauteed zucchini.

oh and for dessert:

baked apples...core, put butter, syrup, cinnamon stick and some clove in center, bake at 400 for 15 minutes, spoon juice over apples before it cools.

Rice to mix with the soup for the kids
