I am not the OP of the FPYC pickup but wanted to add that I was never able to find it online but did go a few times and it was always going on during the winter. |

OP here. No, it's not online. I provided all the details available right here.
Every Friday (6-7:30p) and Sunday (2-4p) at Stafford Drive Park (near Fairfax High School). All ages welcome. Starts this Friday and runs to mid-August. What other details do you need? |

It’s just pickup, and if it’s like it used to be, they play with pugg goals so there aren’t goalkeepers. |

Touches on the ball and playing with others and seeing what shots are successful would be fine training. Do the extra GK training during the season. |

Do the extra GK training during the season. theres no making up for shots on goal . Thats a typical suggestion for a someone who has no background in either playing or position specific coaching the GK position. Most coaches in the youth level have very little knowledge of the GK position and are afraid they will be exposed be teaching wrong . Therefore they tend to avoid it at all cost. the answer is always do extra GK training on the side. pure ignorance by incompetent coaches.. |

So how about some summer leagues where you can enroll your kid on the house team, sometimes they will even give you discounts or let you play for his age group and one above.
No need to start a dick measuring contest... |
