What are you talking about? You're saying the committee doesn't know their own rules? You're weird. Thanks for the laugh though. |
Of course it is possible to turn it down, but the repercussions would be much worse. Politically, it only makes sense to accept graciously, which he did. The only people who think that he should have turned it down are the people who disliked him anyway. Let me guess... you didn't vote for him. |
OP,
I hereby give you, ________, the good intentionality award, known to many as "pure fucking bullshit" award. You will be told you will be feted by the best, but because this is about intentionality and not REALITY, you will not have any parties thrown in your honor, nor will anyone actually give you an award. Your swagger, while obvious, is not as powerful as your intentionality. Keep working on it. |
I don't think she has to explain anything to you. Who are you that she has to explain an international committee's decision to you. How arrogant. Besides, it matters not what she says, you would find fault with it anyway. |
Your welcome for the laugh. You are as ignorant as the rest who bow down to Obama. You still have not justified the award. Read the reaction from the international press before you respond again. Please post an informed response and not your propaganda. |
As far as awards go, I'm still pissed off that Crash beat Brokeback Mountain for the Best Picture Oscar in 2006. Who can explain THAT? HUH? PP? I'm waiting. |
Yeah, and how did the Oscar committee believe "Shakespere In Love" to be more worthy than "Saving Private Ryan", or "Out of Africa" over "The Color Purple". The things committees will do with THEIR awards. Hmm |
OK ignoring the psycho PP. I personally would have been happy that any US President won the award.
And to 22:07, are you really pissed? Crash was phenomenal. I mean that scene with Sandra Bullock with only her housekeeper to help her alone probably won the award. Amazing stuff. |
22:07 here. Crash was heavy-handed and obvious. It was fine for a matinee and some popcorn, but not an Oscar. Brokeback Mountain was subtle, beautiful, and much more important. It was nearly perfect... except for Anne Hathaway's distracting wigs and Jake Gyllenhaal's bad aging makeup. |
I agree. HOW DARE THEY? And everyone else BETTER be able to explain the committees reason as well. WITHOUT the propaganda. And don't waste our time. |
LOL,
I am not psycho. However, this entire thread, among many others, are filled with psychotic individuals. |
What the fuck are you stupid idiots talking about? Movies? We are talking about the nobel award that your great leader just "earned".
What a fucking joke you people are? Grow a backbone and question things once in awhile. Step back and use your brain for a change. |
22:17, you still haven't explained several years worth of Oscar mistakes. Please justify Crash, Shakespeare in Love, what happened to Cuba Gooding Jr. after Jerry Maguire. Go ahead. We're waiting.
I'd also like an explanation for why Philip Roth won the 1998 Pulitzer for American Pastoral. Philip Roth sucks. Please justify. Thank you in advance. |
22:18, please feel free to weigh in on the Oscar and Pultizer controversies as well. Also, I'd like to know the reasons behind all the recent Macarthur Genius Grants. Thanks for your help. |
Idiots. Does anyone have an intelligent thought here. |
