I think more important is how are you going to handle it if you do not get the letter. I hope you do not let your child see the disappointment b/c they were not accepted.

I'd deal with it the same way I deal with everything else. Hookers and cocaine.

This discussion is referring to PK - K acceptances - mostly, right? When we went through this process - my DC did not really have a clue - we would keep asking him which school he liked better or wanted to go to - he had a different answer everytime. If he had not been accepted to any of them and we told him he was going to the local public - he would not have really known the difference. he was just excited about going to school! I guess if your child had friends moving on to particular schools - that would be a little different.
