Sick of having sex with husband already.

Was TTC for 2 years...very difficult to drum up excitement every night for a week at a time.
If you are adventurous, I recommend picking up one of Nancy Friday's books (i.e. Forbidden Flowers)-- she interviewed women across the country about their fantasies. OK, a bit hokey/cheesy. However, they are quick (mostly 2 page) short stories (you can skip her narrative) I read in the evening that significantly helped my mood and interest! Just an out-of-the-box suggestion

| Can I join in? Last night was the magical Day 13. I was already tired and not that interested, then DC would not go to sleep until after 9:30 pm, and I could barely keep awake. I basically was like "thanks," and turned over to go to sleep. Ugh - no fun. |

I was just having this conversation with a friend this weekend- I'm 12 weeks pg, and they're TTC. DH and I were joking that he never thought he'd be asking if we "really had to do it AGAIN?" (And after slogging through the first tri, he's wishing for some of that frequency back!)
I remember asking one time if we could try and kiss to "sexy it up a bit"- we were so focused on the task at hand, it had truely become baby-making, NOT love-making... try and take it slow at least once a week, with lots of kissing and foreplay- it makes it a bit easier! Hang in there! |

| Ha I know about this too. Last month I was trying not to tell my husband it was the magical days and just seduce him. He was exhausted after a long work week and was ready to push it off two days. I nearly raped him at that point. Next week is our special week and I just pray it goes better, I have prepped him for the task at hand. No turning me down now! |

| Go buy Taking Charge of Your Fertility. That should help you find your peak time to have sex. Basically when your cervical mucous looks like egg-whites, that's your most fertile time. |

ROLF....I could have written this post! I'm with you girlfriend! We can this kind of sex a "drive by". I swear I have days that I wish I could read a book while he finishes "driving by".

OP here...I have been WAITING to take a test after my sexathon and can guarantee, no dice this month. I can just tell. I mean, my boobs hurt, I have a headache, and I am bitchy, but that happens leading up to a period, too. Grrrr.

| ugh. i am so sorry to hear that OP. we too tried a sexathon last weeek, but of course, i had a business trip, and the two days prior DH was too exhausted, and don't you know, the first morning i am out of town, the clearblue monitor shows the little egg. ARRRGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! In my moment of frustration I threw the stick across the room. That felt good. Onto November... |

YAY! Congrats OP. I'm also waiting to find out if our sexathon worked. I doubt it though -- DH petered out on the most important days...
