Nah! I just lost 70 lbs mostly working out in the afternoons. I have seen the claim that something happens hormonally if you do it on an empty stomach but the same can be done if you just stop eating 2 hours before the workout. As for the claim that you can't put Truvia in your cofee first thing in the morning, BS. I always have a little something before I work out. Otherwise I just can't perform as well. |
Agree so much with this. My "optimal" time of day is about 5:30 PM but guess what, I will never make it to the gym at that time of day, just not going to happen, not with needing to get the little dictator I live with fed and off to bed. However, a slightly less optimal time of day that I CAN make it to the gym is in the early afternoon when I take my lunch break. Do I work out with the intensity or for as long as I would if I went at night? No, I'm a little sluggish, I'm time restricted to my hour lunch break, it's far from perfect. But I can make it happen on a regular basis. As a bonus, I don't feel any mommy guilt because I'm not "stealing" time that I could otherwise spend with my kid to go to the gym. I have to take a one hour lunch every day so I might as well spend it at the gym. |
