Finding new dreams after infertility

Domestic Adoption as a single person. I was beyond lucky, and was chosen by the BM, just 1 month after joining the adoption agency. A mere 3 days later, I had my healthy newborn daughter in my arms.

We did Donor Egg. Have an amazing 2yo DS now. There was grief in losing that genetic connection. But now all I feel is love. And my only regret is waiting so long to move to DE.

If Donor Egg is too expensive, you could try Donor Embryo.

Me too, I had two children via donor egg. It is something to think through to the end because there are a lot of emotional and even ethical issues that come into play. NOT to mention that the cost is astronomically high. That said, it can work.

Which agency did you use? Fabulous that it was so quick especially as a single woman. Gives many of us hope! Any advice or suggestions would be most appreciated. Adopting a newborn as a single person is daunting.

That's why some of us are not ok with donor eggs. In my case, the ethical issues of gamete donation override my desire to be a mother.
