What do you do when husband travels for work?

Woman like OP annoy me. You are a stay at home wife. Your husband works and supports your entire life. How about doing something with your life? Join a non-profit. Learn how to cook. Clean the house. Garden. Go to the gym. Find friends through mutual interests. If you don't have any interests find some.

Bottom line is make yourself a better person.

Pre-kids I used to take off work and go on business trips with him, if it was a good location. I spent nice days at hotel pools in Vegas and AZ while he worked.

Go out to eat for every meal with my child, and when they are in bed watch all the movies my husband would go humm to and give me grief but he only knows I watched them as he paid for them through his Amazon account.

Are you so non- self sufficient that you need to seek advice?

Stop taking birth control without telling him and then have a "total surprise" baby. Boredom gone.

Please develop some hobbies and friends that enable you to have an outlet other than your husband. You are at risk of smothering him with your neediness.

Change something around the house that I know will make my DH happy when he comes home. Plan a nice meal for when he comes back. Buy some naughty lingerie for when he comes back.

You are awesome, except for the Brazilian. You still get an A for effort. I am full bush fan. Other than two that you are awesome.

I binge-watched video on demand (stuff he had no interest in), got mani pedis, spent lots of time at the gym, sat on the couch and ate mac and cheese, spent large swaths of time on my hair, clothes shopping, and/ or organizing my closets. I felt no guilt. Now that I have two preschoolers and my husband does not travel as much, I MISS those days. Cherish them!! (Even friend free.)

Me too. Dh Travel was a great way to catchnup on me time without guilt. Now with toddler it’s just hard. But unlucky that I use his weekend travel days to take kid to grandma and have a little half day to myself. Grandma happy, toddler happy, mom happy building things with power tools in workshop . Dh happy he comes home to family that missed him.
