| Stay at a hotel. These sound like nightmare hosts. |

Your kids need to learn how to deal with their cousins without your interaction. Stop
Protecting your children. |
| While the kids are so young I would stay in a hotel. |
| AirBnB. Hotels are harder with kids, but renting a whole place with real amenities makes trips much more relaxing. My parents always rented a cabin or condo for our family of six. |
| Hotel. Your BIL needs help. I had a cousin who was really weird like this. Her children were like robots. My children are allowed to think for themselves, because I do not want a bunch of robotic clones with no minds of their own. Getting mad because your kid scrunched up a cover over a piece of furniture? That's insane. Do they sleep in padded rooms and wear straitjackets? |

We have blankets covering our nice expensive couch while the kids are young too. I don't want drool and sticky fingers and potty accidents on the couch. So my kids know to sit on the blankets, easy. They would correct your child if he or she tried to play with those blankets (although the kids play with towels and other things that they could redirect with).
Anyone here, including our young kids, would also correct a child banging on the glass. We have real play drums if they want to bang on something. Your kids can trash your own place but not someone else’s. Sounds like a hotel would be less stressful for everyone - they probably don’t want you staying there any more than you want to be there. |
With a pool, or air B B with a yard. Fun for everyone. |
| I would stay somewhere else. I don't enjoy being around the stress of OCD people either and chances are high they they don't like the stress of having more laid back people in their home either. |
