High Drive Couples

I told my husband when we met that I have? a very high drive and I wanted to make sure that he could handle it. He could. We've been together for almost 9 years, and it is still amazing, but he also never knows what I'm going to suggest or what I'm going to do. I like to keep him guessing. It makes it more exciting that way. My ex-husband wasn't ok with it. He was so chill that he was practically dead.

We're concisely 5-6 times a week. Like others, my libido definitely did take a hit after having our kids, but we stayed consistent because I realized the importance of healthy, regular sex for a good marriage. Maybe I was spooked by all the DCUM posts I've seen, or maybe I just have common sense. Anyways, even when I had a pretty low drive, once we actually got started, I usually got into it.

Also - I agree. Foreplay is a pretty big part of keep our sex drive fun and consistent.

We probably average about twice a week right now, which I don’t really consider a lot. But sometimes more. Two young kids, married 10+ years; together >20 years. We try to mix it up with new things.

We often don't get past foreplay.....which can be a fun thing!

Op here- This is amazing.

We're in the "kids" phase of our life. We have 4 ranging from 6 months to 8 years old and we manage 2-3x/week on a slow week. I'm praying we can get back up to our regular daily occurrences in a few years when I'm not so sleep deprived!
