He fills up my car every Sunday so I don't have to worry about getting gas for the week.

He lets me sleep in and gets our toddler up almost every morning. I did all the night feedings/wake ups/ bedtimes through two, so he’s taken this in as a thank you. Plus he makes coffee. Champion.

He helps me in the shower when I ask, I love it when he washes my hair.

He does all the grocery shopping and will stop at the store if I tell him I need something, even if he already went to the store that day.

He built me a beautiful bench based on a casual remark that we didn't have one at the foot of our bed. 48 hours later... we have a stunning bench.

My husband does this too. He is not romantic or particularly thoughtful, but every morning I spend sleeping in while he hangs out with the kids is worth more to me than endless flowers or compliments.

x1000 My DH also does this and it is invaluable to me.

He is always listening to my small complaints and addressing them. Got me a cool heater for under my desk, that kind of thing. Always kisses me goodnight and hello.

When I come home from work each day (after he gets home) we hug and kiss. And sometimes he hugs me a little longer, takes a deep breath, and then exhales and lets go of me and says something along the lines of "Now I feel better," or "That's exactly what I needed." Total ego boost.

This morning I was working from home and he was heading out. He brought me my morning coffee, made exactly the way I like it, a homemade breakfast sandwich, and my work laptop, so I could start my day slowly in bed. Left a spotless kitchen.

He cooks all kinds of different meats on the weekend so I only fix sides during the week. He mops because I can't do it anymore.

I ordered him one of those adjustable beds. It came earlier than expected. He drove two hours to get home before they arrived to clean under the bed and the frame, move the old mattress out of the way then he handled the setup. He washed all of the bedding after. We made the bed together.

Today he brought us dinner. I usually have dinner ready but he wanted us both to have a break after a long week. He forgot to give me my monthly pocketbook money because he's been busy. I could go and get it at the bank but I want him to get it for a reason. Something he agreed with. I don't remind him when he forgets. He brought home the money today. He was happy he remembered.

He always opens the car door for me. Always. He lets me sleep in, does the laundry on the weekend.

My DH brings me coffee in bed every morning. He's a natural riser, so he's already up, but it is just one little thoughtful thing that I am ever so grateful for (especially as a big coffee lover!). We're HS sweethearts and I remember him telling me that he always did this in HS for his mother, too. It's the little things.
