| Yes. Schools understand kids slacking off but not that much. |
It's quite difficult to recline an offer, but I guess technically it's possible, depending on the angle you use while holding it |
| They won't do anything until the final transcript is sent after you graduate. Keep in mind that means rescind notice coming in the summer when you have no HS counselor to help you and limited options. |

Talk to the college and find out what the policy is, have your daughter on the other phone listening into the conversation so that she knows that this is coming from the school.
Once your daughter knows that her lack of effort could lead to her college acceptance being rescinded, she might decide to work harder and bring those grades up or she might continue on playing video games. Keep in mind that she now has to backtrack and learn the material from 3rd quarter as well as learn the new material being taught in the 4th quarter. You can't do it for her. If the offer does get rescinded it might be a blessing in disguise. |
Don’t know if all do, but the first choice school sent a minimal acceptable final year GPA, which was maybe a 2.5 & made my already intermittent student burst out laughing like it was her out of jail free card. So- not sure it was a motivator here. as pp said, check your admission materials. |
| Yes they can rescind, and Harvard should rescind this one immediately for lack of character. http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/712691.page |
| Lazy boy university has been known to recline |
Famous for it's laid back vibe. |
It isn't on the kid if mom lacks character... buy yeah. |
