To add Sela to DCI would require them to hire several people who are fluent in Hebrew and can also teach subjects at a middle/high school level. It could happen, but it wouldn't be easy.

Hebrew isn't an IBO language. http://www.ibo.org/language-policy/

Sela to DCI seems a bridge too far.

I don't think Sela is better than Takoma unless you want Hebrew.

Academically, it’s better, so, yes it is...

I don't purport to know much about how IBO programs work (or DCI's mechanics), but it does seem IBO has some sort of Hebrew program. http://www.ibo.org/globalassets/jobs-and-careers/examiners/ib-deputy-examiner-responsible-hebrew-literature-2016-en.pdf

Not sure about that. Comparing Takoma, which currently goes through 8th, with Sela, which only went through 3rd grade last year (and only had 13 3rd graders); you need to compare 3rd grade to 3rd grade. And since Sela has fewer than 25 kids in the testing grades, I can't fine PARCC scores on learndc or myschooldc.

What do you see as the difference? Is it the curriculum? The peer group? The education level and professional development of the teachers? What evidence do you have?
