Bad breath and tonsil stones?

That sounds like it could be it. I sometimes feel like there is something in my throat when I swallow if I have them. Usually they are hidden within the folds/crypts of your tonsils so you don't see them until they are bigger or have started to pop out. Ew, even writing about them is gross. Ugh.

And you usually have the sense that your breath is really bad, like you have that "bad breath" taste in your mouth. Yes, they are gross. Fortunately I don't get them that often.

My cousin had the worst breath. We could smell it while she was eating dinner with us at the table. It was the foulest odor ever.

Turns out she had tonsil stones, and her story sounds like much of what has been posted here. She is fine now, but confessed to me that she lost out on lots of second dates, and she was always embarrassed. (She is freakin gorgeous, wicked smart, and was on match.com at the time.)

i used to get these...when i was little i thought it was from swallowing soap in the tub (i was around 7-8 when i first had one). i haven't had one for some time. i didn't know you could remove them with a tool...i never thought to look for them. now i'll be vigilant!
