Companies are not people, and they don't have values. I don't care what a company says, most will treat their workers as poorly as they can get away with without suffering repercussions. Mistreatment of workers in Amazon warehouses is well-documented. Amazon is out to make money for Amazon.

This is why I put no stock at all in a company's vision, mission or value statement. It means nothing if executives don't care. Fortunately, regulators *do* care and often use so-called "paper" values programs that are ignored as Exhibit A in investigations and prosecutions for legal violations (e.g. bribery, kickbacks, etc...)
