Do you sleep cuddled up with your DH?

Ha! That's me (falling asleep on the couch) - but usually I wake up around midnight and make my way to bed. We cuddle more in the winter too - but not too much. Glad to hear others are similar!

Nope, no cuddling.

Another one whose DH often ends up on the couch.

Initially, then we tend to roll apart at some point in the night. We usually wake up with our legs touching and that's it. Occasionally when DH is very stressed out I'll wake up in the middle of the night and find him clutching me like a teddy bear, fast asleep. Fortunately, he doesn't snore.

No, we used to the first few years we were married cuddle in the beginning and then go separate ways. Fast forward 2 kids and 10 years later - I sadly wish I had my own room and bed. I put a pillow between us bc he complains I toss and turn too much and he gives off so much heat at night and I cant sleep when I am hot so I am on the edge of the bed. It is so sad.

No- in fact, we don't even use the same blanket!! he says i am a blanket thief, so we each have our own individual duvets. my mother inlaw thinks we are crazy.

No, he sleeps in a mattress by my bed, we love each other but we can not sleep together and we have just one small bedroom.

Speaking of sleep, I thought this was so funny and true:

usually, right now that i'm pregnant its a little harder. but generally we always start out cuddling and then in the night we both turn several times...in the morning we cuddle which makes waking up sooo much harder because its just so comfy!

What DO the people who spoon do with that bottom arm?

He wishes the answer would be yes. However, I need my space. We start out cuddling but by morning I am on my side of the bed in my own space.

I love the idea of two duvets. I usually get accused of stealing the covers as well!!

LOL DH asked me that the other day when we tried switching positions for the first time!!! I just sleep on top of it and he tried for a few seconds... but no way to sleep like that all night long for him.
I kept saying I wish I had one less arm during the night and one extra arm during the day. It would be so helpful! LOL

sometimes he puts it under my waist so he's hugging me, sometimes he puts it under my neck like a pillow, and sometimes he puts it under his own head like a pillow. of course this only lasts until we fall asleep and then somehow we both end up sleeping in a million different positions during the night.

NO! Even when we were first dating and I was at the prime of my infatuation, have-to-be-near-you-all-the-time, I needed my sleep space.

I am all for affection but I need my space to sleep and like to stretch out, plus my chiropractor years ago told me to sleep on my side with one pillow in between my legs and hug one pillow so that is how I sleep - no room for DH that close to me!

Sometimes he will spoon me but never for the entire night. I get too hot, and I hate (HATE) when he puts his head on my (MY) pillow.
