I sent mine to Camp Appel Farm at age 7, and he had a fantastic time. There's a one-week session option for these youngest kids, with more adult support and a close age grouping.

Huge bonus: He came back having learned to properly wash dishes, fold clothing (with amazing neatness!), and find objects he'd misplaced.
