Where can I eat near Air and Space or Museum of Natural History

There's a decent cafeteria below the National Gallery of Art. Museum of American History also has a cafeteria but with preschool-aged children you won't want to walk that far for lunch.

I ate at the Native American cafeteria recently and thought the quality went way down and prices way up. About $18 for mediocre lomo saltado and my DS got a hot dog (maybe bison?) that was either $8 or $11 and not very good. For 3 people including bottled water we spent $70.

The Native American cafe is too expensive for the quality of food they serve.

With kids those ages I would just brown bag it.

If you walk across Independence Ave and MD Ave, there's a Vie de France by 6th St.. There's also a Quiznos on C St.
