You are wrong. I'm sad for the dogs who are being adopted out when they shouldn't be. I also grieve for a precious 3 year old girl who was innocently playing, then attacked, mauled, and dragged around the room by the dog. Can you imagine her pain and fear?! The grandmother threw her whole weight on the dog and pinned it down until the police shot it. It's a complete tragedy.

Denial is clearly not just a river in Egypt for pit lovers.

Not all pitbulls kill people but every story "mauled to death/severely injured'' leads straight to pitbull(s)...
It's time for a breed ban. Let the existing dogs live, but no more breeding, this breed is completely ruined by been in the wrong hands for decades.

I would not bring ANY breed/mutt adult dog larger than a tea-cup size in a house with the small child.
Poor girl, what a horrible way to go.

There was also a husband and wife attacked around Christmas. Killed the wife...

How familiar is this statement:

"The family has owned the pit bull for five years and it has no known history of violence or aggression, according to a preliminary police investigation."

From the picture, it looks like it was an intact male. What was the dad thinking?!

So sad.
