Swiss Alps vs Austrian Alps...where to go and stay?

I love St. Anton in Austria. Great town. Walk to the mountain. I like to stay in the Hotel Post. Breakfast and dinner are included as well as your ski pass.

Agree, everything is SO expensive. More than you expect and I'm pretty well traveled. We split our time between Swiss and French Alps and it was a night and day difference in food and drink prices (not to mention much tastier in France!) and things like parking at hotel, fees, etc. Way more expensive than Vail or Aspen for day to day stuff.
