there are much cheaper options there. |
Even better. |

Agree with finding the cheapest gym you can. Or ask your office building’s security staff if any other offices have showers. Some could and might be willing to let you use it.
Bike commuting is awesome! I started in a Feb while pregnant and got in great shape. The right gear is everything. And give yourself permission not to bike when it’s snowy or too cold. Also, if you have baby wipes and a full change of clothes you may not need to shower, unless you’re a naturally sweaty person. |
+1 I think Gold’s gym and Washington Sports club are among the cheapest gyms downtown. |

Depending on where you come from, your ride might be mostly downhill and showering might be optional.
I have a ~5 mile largely downhill ride. I get to work and change into fresh (work) clothes and feel far less nasty and sweaty than if I'd been on the metro and then walking several blocks to my office. |
| Are you a federal employee? |
| I’ve always thought someone should start a shower business...like a find a shower app. that you can use to shower at gyms/hotels or whatever. Or just a shower only business. That way people can run/bike to work. |

I would simply get the most inexpensive gym membership & take my showers there before work.
Are there any that charge $25/Month in your area? Plus since you enjoy biking, you may also enjoy working out on occasion too! |
Crunch Fitness metro center location is cheaper |
| It's true that downtown dc is downhill from many places! |
I have cycled this last week every day. One hour each way. I wrapped up warm and enjoyed it. |
So you put suit on at gym...then ride your bike whatever the distance is from gym to office? Keep bike at gym, walk to office? Keep bike at gym, uber to office? |

You're just going to have to give yourself a French bath. Wipe with wet hand towel and dry with big towel.
