Why is Ellen's show so popular?

This! She tries to play it off as sarcasm but it's obvious mean-spirited elitism. She clearly thinks all the lunatics in her audience are losers.

Does anyone have a clip of her being mean spirited?

Does anyone have a clip or can reference her being mean spirited? I would generally like to see it and I am not around during the day to watch.

I wouldn't say she is mean spirited, but she just thinks she speaks for everybody because she is gay. My goodness, she's been pulling this shit since I was in my teens. I wish she would just go away.

There was a segment where she caught her audience stealing in her riff raff room (yes stealing is wrong) but she put the spot light on them and embarrassed them on national tv

Funny you should say that, because this whole thread seems full of refugee trolls from the Political forum.

h

There are many better things to watch on Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming services than the Ellen show, which is dreck. Dreck is a vague Yiddish word vaguely meaning trash

I don't get to watch her show very often but I like that her show is generally upbeat. She is routinely recognizing individuals/groups who somehow help the community. I think her interviews with kids are great. And she's able to book top celebrities.
