Kalahari vs Great Wolf vs ?

Kalahari is bigger, newer and has better food than GWL. GWL in Williamsburg is closer and has Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg though.

from a waterpark perspective, Kalahari is much better. we have been to each twice over the past 5 years.

I didn't like the prominent bar in the water park at kalahari, and my perception was it felt less safe (watched a kid getting strapped to a back injury board after an accident). But nicer/bigger hotel.

Yes. It was the surfing pool. I didn't let my kids do it.

I guess it is good to be aware that these things happen. I hope it turned okay for that child. Yikes.

When you stayed there did you experience a good check in? I read online that the wait to check in can be hours long.
