That’s a crazy ass part of town.
Between 10 & midnight things are starting to get dicey. 12-2 & you might survive what happens to you. As you get closer to 2 or 3 in the morning the odds are not in your favor unless you’re really lucky, fast and crafty.

Aren’t all crimes hate crimes, is hate really a worse reason to commit an assault than jealousy? Is killing a black man worse if you are ignorant compared to greedy? I simply don’t get the premise

What more were you expecting? It's over. No suspect arrested. Investigation is at a dead end.

There were thousands of assaults in DC last year just like this one. Dozens happen every single day. Most are never resolved.
