Lots of my peers went on to Ivies for grad school/law school, etc. We had always thought of Ohio State as the big party school, or even MSU. But def. not U Mich.

It wasn't serious minded in the 80s... did you ever see South Quad on any school night? Ever walk into East Quad and inhale ever?

It a party school for undergrad whose academic reputation lives off its graduate programs. Only recently has undergrad gotten serious and that's only because they need the out of state dollars from Ivy League rejects to keep the grad schools afloat.

“Obviously, women being sexually assaulted, people overdosing on drugs, hospitalizations, that’s a bad look for the university in general and it’s not a good representative of what we stand for,” said Mr. Smith, a senior.

Hopefully, it will start a trend.

One of the benefits of a huge school. The same is true of most other very large state campuses.

"These types of colleges" -- you mean the ones with men?

No, the ones with rape cultures. Plenty of colleges don't have rape cultures.

The Rape 'Epidemic' Doesn't Actually Exist

Statistics don't support the contention that 'rape culture' is pervasive.

Totally serious. Secular state schools scare the crap out of me and I don’t think they’re worth the money.

Well that’s just silly. Even at Good Christian Schools like Wheaton this shit happens. Despicable.

And "Wisco" as you call it is better than Penn State. Please don't mention them in the same sentence again.

You do realize that at some point your child will need to enter the real world.

Frozen ice, snow and short daylight 3/4 of the college year. Nothing left to do but drink. Depressing.
