What happened at Langley HS?

Let’s cut it with this kind of bs.

Hahahahahahahahha!! Thanks for the laugh of the day! You equate one bad apple (who wasn't even from the Langley area) with "serious issues" and an "insecure environment"?? Give us all a break, Chicken Little. This waa one isolated incident. I've had kids at Langley for over ten years and *nothing* like this has happened before. Sounds like this kid should have spent more time in juvie rather than being passed from school to school.

Thanks for your faux concern, though.

The Langley haters live for this kind of spin. It only makes them look foolish.]

Absolutely agree with this. Houses in Pimmett Hills are flying off the market and into the hands of folks fleeing from McLean.

WHAT? a minor kerfuffle over an expulsion and you jump to that conclusion? I wouldn't even know about this if I didn't read DCUM - and I live across the street from Langley. No one cares! BTW when my children went to langley they always had two uniformed police officers in attendance at all times and a patrol car out front. The school pays for off-duty Fairfax police to monitor.

I think it was two moms who got into a fistfight over whether Chinese should replace Japanese at Langley next year.

I just asked my senior if he knew what had happened and he said it was pretty much a non-issue and the kid was expelled. As another PP pointed out, he was a transfer from another school, where he had also been expelled.

Meh, it's just baiting the Yorktown troll. Successfully, evidently.

If there's anything that's actually true in this thread, someone needs to hit the reset button and flash the magic sign that makes it clear they know what they are talking about.

My friend's kid was the one of the kids he threatened to shoot. It was a much larger issue than your kid alludes to, probably because it didn't affect him. Best educate your kid to recognize danger signs.

I seriously doubt what you say and that your "friend's kid" was involved. At any rate, it wasn't a "much larger issue." Exactly what "danger signs" are you alluding to? This kid transferred from a different school to Langley. He certainly doesn't represent kids from Langley. And now he's been expelled. What more would you like to add?
