I could handle him bathing every other day but once/twice a week?! Deal breaker. If we were in a locale that had water restrictions or no access to frequent showers, I might cut him some slack but every place I've been where that was true also had public baths and bidets. |
Poor personal hygiene is an automatic dealbreaker. A quick daily shower is not going to kill the environment.
|
Did she give a reason why? I’m really curious. |
I don't shower everyday in the winter. |
Ew. |
Op here. She said she only showers twice a week and washes her hair off once a week because soap strips your skins natural oils. She has a quick rinse off every morning with just water. She is a vegan, and I thought that was hard enough, but this is gross. |
Oh! Honestly that's different. Not my style, but totally different than what you claimed initially. Why not give us the full story?? |
If she doesn't smell bad, what is the problem? |
It isn't for me, but I'd say if she doesn't smell, she tastes fine (you obviously didn't notice) what's the real problem? |
I think she should at least wash her lady bits and armpits daily - not very oily, so no excuse there |
You're not supposed to use soap on your lady bits, ever!! |
Where is she from? I am from Europe and we shower maybe 2-3 Times a week unless we work out or get dirty for other reasons. We also use bidets (spell) and I guarantee you that we are cleaner down there than any American I know. I also clean my armpits at least once a day. |
+1 now you are describing something completely different than showering once a week. This sounds like a personal preference, not bad hygiene. |
No! Showering once a week is showering once a week, regardless of the reason. |
He is going to be in for a rude awakening when he gets older and realizes "saving water" is a ploy by the water company to charge us more for using less water. We keep reusing the same water we crap in. You either live in a place that has water or you don't. The politics of water are so much more than "wasting resources." |
