It needs to be reported. And, for this, I would go above the principal and teacher and go straight to the Asst. Supt.

Yeah, I'm a dem who frequently helps to hand out materials at back to school nights and such...and I'm pretty sure this is not ok.

Fwiw, when I do hand out materials, there is almost always a rep from the other party there. And I frequently strike up a conversation with them - I was at a HS this year and the 18 year old volunteer I was there with from the other side was a kind young man with an interesting family story. It gives me hope that we don't all have to hate each other.

As someone who frequently has to have fliers approved for inclusion in folders that go home, the principal's office is supposed to review the materials. At least that is how it works at our school. I would imagine there is a process at your school as well.

It did happen. The school is mostly low income immigrants and the parents probably don't care that the sample ballot was in the folder. I'll bet the pp that suggested it was a parent was correct. There's no room parents at this school, but I know that in previous years it was a parent volunteer that did the folders.

As far as btsn, there may or may not have been republicans there, I wasn't paying attention. You can't ignore the democrats because they are aggressive and in your face. They always are on Election Day too. The republicans are never aggressive like that.

If you have ever voted, you are given a ballot by each of the parties, if you choose to take them.
