NW rowhome with outside steps-Uppababy Vista or Cruz?

Love my Cruz. Got it because it is smaller than the Vista and I had no need for the bassinet. (we used keyfit 30 bucket with the Cruz). Son is almost 2 and we use it daily to get him to daycare. Basket underneath is huge as well.

I have a love hate relationship with my Cruz. Vista was def too big for my tastes but I still find the Cruz to be heavier than what I'd like when lugging it up stairs or in and out of the trunk. It also takes up so much space in the trunk.

When are you due? Uppababy has the new lightweight Minu coming out in the spring that is only 14.5 pounds, compared to the Cruz's 21.5. I wish that had been an option for me.

I have a super lightweight Zoe for travel and sometimes I find myself using it more than the Cruz because of how small it is.

Live in a very walkable area so use our stroller a lot, but I find myself reaching for the Mountain Buggy Nano 90% of the time because it's so much lighter. The Cruz is good for when I need the basket though or rougher roads. Definitely glad I didn't get the vista.

Kind of, we just have one car and DH uses it for work during the week. I take metro to work, so I'd be using the stroller to walk our kid to daycare about 1 mile and then I guess I'd have to walk the stroller home (ugh hadn't really thought of that haha), DH would do pick up in the car.

Great, I'm looking at the 2017 models. lol I feel like I'm talking about cars, so weird.

I've never heard of that one, I'll look into it. Thanks!

Leave the stroller at daycare and have your husband bring it home when he picks up in the car.

We had a BOB and the big tires allowed me to drag it backwards up the stairs on the back wheels, or push it down the stairs on the back wheels. A little bumpy for the baby but if you do it slowly you can be fairly gentle.

+1, you're not want to have to walk there and back when the weather is either too hot or too cold.

I have the MB Nano and have to take the stroller up and down a set of stairs. It works well because it's so light and portable. It's my only stroller and I'm glad I didn't get a heavier stroller.
