Need so much help for 14 year old boy- no idea where to begin

I would at least visit with the public school about supports available once you have had the testing done. I don't know about your specific schools, but in general Catholic schools are not set up to manage serious learning or behavioral disabilities.

A relative switched from Catholic to public schools in a similar situation, and it was life changing. Part of the change was that post diagnosis, with meds, things were improving for the child, but the school atmosphere was stuck -- other kids and even teachers don't allow for a kid to change and treat them based on first impressions. She was pegged as "that kid." This impedes healing and contributes significantly to a child's issues. I would seriously consider switching schools once you have a diagnosis so that part of his life can start over.
