Op here. Cube wall is only chest high. I am not talking about putting on powder or lipstick. I am talking about going from barefaced to fully made up. She should do this at home or in the bathroom. I find it unprofessional.

Perhaps, but it's not gross. You are over dramatic.

Yeah, you sound too delicate for this old world, OP.

I agree she should go to the bathroom to put on makeup, but it's not gross.

I think anything that happens in the work bathrooms is gross and unsanitary. I wouldn't put on makeup there. I have a coworker who cuts up apples in the bathroom and I'm SO grossed out by the thought of her eating those apples.

I have a coworker who leaves her toothbrush laying on top of her toothpaste tube on the side of the bathroom sink.

Me too! I think it's nasty to brush your teeth in a public restroom. I'm just really grossed out by it. People are pooping away and she's brushing her teeth.

OP here again. Perhaps I am too delicate but her nasty beauty blender looks like it is decades old and never washed. Blech.

You people are crazy. My sink at home is three feet away from the toilet. The work bathroom is ten feet away from the sink plus the toilets have stalled. Not to mention our work bathroom is cleaned three times per day.

Just tell HR if it bothers you so much.

It grosses me out to see people brushing their teeth in the common restroom.

The nail clipping is the grossest because it leaves a residue.

The only thing that grosses me out here is people brushing their teeth in the public bathroom. I'm not grossed out by makeup or by people clipping a hangnail over their trashcan (it happens!).

It's a gd bathroom; that's where you're supposed to do personal hygiene and grooming. Where do you want me to brush my teeth if I need to after lunch??

You people are too much. Take a hike in a lake while I brush and floss in the bathroom. I don't care.

I'd take any of this over the man next door who yells at his kids and wife over the phone all day. Our walls are way too thin for this personal drama to play out.

Agreed. I didn't enjoy it, but I had to brush my teeth after eating lunch when I was wearing invisalign. I tried to be discreet and quick about it.

We have a few nail clippers in my office. Agree that it's gross, with the clippings flying everywhere.

Also, my colleague told a story of one of her former coworkers coming in with an overnight head scarf (black woman) and bringing her fake ponytail with her to attach at work. Cracked me up, but so unprofessional.

None of this can top the time I found a woman bent over and rinsing her hair in the kitchen sink.
