How is it " gross"? It's gross to want a women who can support herself and her offspring? Feminism at it's best. I don't want to be treated like I'm helpless but god forbid a man make me pay for anything.

Why not? Women do. Women contribute to the household just as much as men do. Not all men want a woman who is uneducated and can't support themselves. Some men want a good catch.

Lol.

Men who care about a woman's salary are not a good catch themselves but whatever floats your boat.

I'm not attracted to weak men so that's laughable to me. I can contribute to my household by myself and live with much less stress than if I were to contribute to a household with a grown man who is worried about my financial statements. If my finances are a factor then you are a non-factor as a man.

That's really stupid. You gotta have more skills than spreading your legs.

I am a woman, I don't have to do anything but know that women don't need men, men need women. Therefore men need to provide something besides stress and a sexual appetite.

I understand why that makes underachieving men and ugly women upset but oh well. I am not a man and I have no need to take on that role.

If a man is worried about my finances then he is useless to me. What is his purpose? To request physical affection and tell me how to spend my money, lol. Get a clue. I don't celebrate losers and I would never advise a woman to "prove her worth" to an underachiever.

Op here. No. My best friend who thinks she is undateble because of her infertility issues. I don't think so, and I am genuinely curious what men think.

How do men need women? They don't.

LOL. Make yourself useful - give your man a BJ and go to bed. Apparently, that's the only thing you are good at.

What does she have that is making her have those issues? If she's not trying for a baby how does she know she is?

Not a show stopper.

She could always use donor eggs.
Or surrogates.
Marrying someone to have kids is a crapshoot. Who knows who is going to wind up having fertility issues.
Best thing she can do now is save up money so she can afford fertility treatments, donor eggs surrogates etc when the time comes.

The fertility issues won't matter but her salary will be too high/intimidating. I wouldn't advertise the increase.

OP, you are really belittling a woman's value/worth down to her ability to make babies as if that is what a partner should only look for besides love/affection. Does that even exist anymore in DC between couples who place more value on how much money each makes?

You also mention her high salary and mention her age as if being 31 is a bad thing. Plenty of 20 somethings who make way way wayyyyyyy less than your 'friend' and have fertility issues/hormonal issues to boot and only a community college or high school diploma. You sound like a man to be honest. Are you trying to pimp out your friend to a guy eyeing money and only money?

Why would it be intimidating? Can't men just be proud that some women earn high salaries?

Op here. I am a woman. I am not belittling anyone or making anything a bad thing. I was giving simple information which most posters would have asked her age and background.
