Can someone give me an idea of the cost of a comprehensive evaluation for an early elem. student?

Not true.

But think about it. People really don't go to the time and expense of an evaluation unless a kid is struggling in some way. So 'getting a diagnosis' isn't about the money or false positives. It is a self-selecting population who seeks this out
