Good indoor venue for a 6yo Bday party in NoVA?

It's a hike, but Cub Run Rec Center was a hit. Kids can swim, then hit the playground outside after cake.

Her preschool let you rent space for parties previously?

I think DS was invited to at least 5 6 year old parties at Jumping Joeys in Falls Church last year. I hate that place but it's very popular for 6 year olds.

We had a good time at a party at Swim First.

We did DS's 4th birthday at the firehouse - it was fun but I actually think 6 is a little old for that.

I've heard good things about parties at Michaels and Home Depot (Home Depot doesn't charge you but it's hard to get in touch with the right people to get it set up).

^^PP again. I also second the suggestion for Bowl America. We also had fun at a party at the YMCA gymnastics center in Arlington.

Is your daughter into American Girl Dolls yet? You can have a party in their cafe. If girls don't have a doll, one is provided.

Michael's craft stores will host birthday parties.

We're in FFX and many K parties this year were hosted in loudon county. It's a 30-40min hike but there are so many party options out there.

6 is too old for that place. My kids all outgrew it by about 5

Don't know about the Falls Church one but DS went to many parties at the Arlington one last year (2nd grade).
How can anyone be too old for a bounce house?

DS had his kinder party at Washington Sport and Health.
They have several bday party options. It was fun and easy on me.
