August birthday party

We have an August birthday...

1st birthday -- 4 zillion people in my house
2nd birthday -- 4 zillion people in my house
3rd birthday -- moonbounce in the backyard for a handful of preschoolers and one 10 year old older brother (not invited to the party) that was too big to be in the moonbounce with the little kids and whose mom would NOT make him get out of the moonbounce...not that I am bitter. It was about 120 degrees and we were basically breathing water it was so humid. I stood by the moonbounce with a bottle of gatorade and straws. I made the kids bounce over to me and drink gatorade through the mesh because they wouldn't get out of the moonbounce. I made the 10 year old get out of the moonbounce and go get his own drink. I do not recommend this...
4th birthday -- Burke Lake Park -- train party -- lots of kids and families -- high heat and humidity -- BEES -- HORRIBLE IDEA
5th birthday -- pony rides and petting zoo in my backyard with kids and families -- weather was beautiful and party was FANTASTIC

There's My Gym and Little Gym. Both do birthday parties.

Also check out the Sport & Health Kids Klub at the Rio. They do birthday parties.

Some firestations sponsor birthday parties. Usually includes letting the kids get in the firetruck, meet firefighters. You bring the cake and food.

OP here. PP 23:02 I'm LMAO right now. That was good information, thanks. Because the moon bounce had crossed my mind. Yeh, 20 is too many I know but my son plays with the girls at school as much as the boys. So I thought I'd just invite them all and assume only half would show anyway. Maybe bad assumption. I was mulling over Glen Echo puppet show or Adventure Theater, anybody have experience with that?
