I am not the one with blinders on. You really don't know what people are concerned about in much of the country and it sure as hell is not the claptrap that some liberals post on this forum. You may not like it but public opinion extends far beyond just the west coast and the north east.

I think the GOP is actually in a really tough spot, since there's no way in hell the current composition of the House will vote to impeach. In fact, I think the GOP would actually be in a strategically better positions if there were MORE Democrats in the House, so they could secure a slim majority to impeach.

The GOP gerrymandered the House ridiculously and now they have a bunch of ultra-right Trumpsters who don't know when it's smart to jump ship. Unfortunately, I think we are waiting out either a resignation or a sitting President under indictment for multiple felonies.

In the latter case, the Democrats will need a tsunami in 2018 to secure the votes to impeach.

Trump will not be impeached. All the chatter on this board about his impeachment, removal from office, resignation, dying from ill-health, conviction and so on makes liberals sound like blathering idiots.

But never mind, you have Obama getting on board to help the Democrats win in the mid-terms and apparently Hillary is going to join in the effort. Obama and Hillary to the rescue ........ what could go wrong?

Yes, public opinion is quite different outside the Northeast and West Coast. I, along with 7 of my friends just got out tickets to the Trump rally here in Phoenix next Tuesday.
