Sarah Huckabee Sanders' new look

Her eyeshadow was too dark. You can't see it in that picture, but it was oddly distracting when she blinked.

I looked at the pictures, and I liked her old look better -- straight hair, less makeup. I'm not a big SHS fan, on her content, and think she would like 1000% better if she didn't always look pissed off at everyone....but I don't think a beachy wave and a smokey eye are going to make that go away!
Just curious if others thought it was an improvement, or if we should start a Let SHS be SHS movement. Hare the pics:

And if we're talking about hair and makeup, I think Scaramucci could use a lot less gel and bronzre

Yes, he looks like a gay mobster. Not that there's anything wrong with that. He'll be wacked and thrown in the Potomac soon enough.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders embodies the DC look for women, really. She dresses like a Christian Missionary or like she can't quite decide what she should wear when they say business casual. Men have it relatively easy because they can wear a suit...but yet she can too. Not sure why she doesn't dress like Dana Perino? Dana Perino always looked extremely professional and put together.

I think her outfits are slowly getting better. But that's likely bc it's now her full time gig, and she knows that she'll be on camera, and Mooch wants to polish her up.

I don't love the new hair/makeup - I think something in between would be better. I am not a fan of those loose curls on straight hair that everyone has in DC - I think straight hair just looks cleaner if that's what you have. (Full disclosure, I have curly hair.)

All I can think about when I see that new look is how much extra time she probably had to spend in the chair getting her hair and make-up done, and that apparently a lot of people feel like that was a better use of her time than the substantive work she might have done instead. Leaving aside how you feel about her boss, what kind of message is that for professional women?

Agree with all of this, especially the last part. There's polished and then there's overdone and she's starting to look the latter. She has full, shiny hair that doesn't need too much fussing and would do fine with a nice blowout. Her stylist should forget the curls give the Revlon styler thing a try.

Who carrrrrrres?! I loathe this woman. Can we not just scour her on substance?

I like her new makeover. She looks more put together and grown up. They should get her some big statement eyeglasses to distract from her crazy eye. Your focus tends to land on her eyes and that is her worst feature.

She always looks so pissed off that it doesn't matter what she is wearing or how her hair is styled. She's chosen this path for her life so I have no sympathy.

Honestly, nothing she does with hair or makeup will look good unless she loses weight and the double chin/aged look that comes with it. Just being honest. She is not an older woman yet but extra weight ages her.

Trump and his cronies have turned our political system into an actual TV show. "Get Sarah into hair and makeup, stat!"

I think she looks fine either way. If she'd started off with the makeup, no one would have said anything. It's just jarring to see a change. That aside, her makeup and hair aren't her big issues. Her complete lack of any kind of Ethics or morality is probably a little more problematic

Does she have bells palsy?

I thought so too but KA Conway has the same look sometime. They take dark make up and don't apply it right - it makes one of their eyes appear much bigger than the other and gives the droopy look.
