Totally enjoying the absence of F.P. Santangelo

Me too. I was done with him when he was bragging about going to Mar-A-Lago.

He's much better than marble-mouthed Gomer Pyle, Ray Knight. "Well golllyyyyeeee, Johnny!"

FP said some bs about Michael A - he said something like all he needs to do is get a couple of hits and make a couple of plays. Not really seeing Michael A's superstarness. After that, Michael A was hitting homers.

I loved FP until he said that. Now, I don't care for him.

On Father's Day one of the players had (heart)my dad on the eye black on his face, F.P. said, "Hey, what if one of the guys had I hate my dad on his face!"

What a tool.

F.P. sounds particularly moronic today.

You're delusional. FP is the Clint of the broadcast booth. Get him out.

For sure. What was all that jibber jabber about the Cubs giving the fan the World Series ring? He said something stupid about how it's like inviting people to your wedding--where do you stop? Just shut up and acknowledge how nice it was for the Cubs to give a ring to a fan who was treated awfully by other fans.

Can't stand him. He is so arrogant. He acts like he knows everything about baseball. He try's to act like he's one of the players in the dugout with "taters" and other obnoxious sayings.

You know he was a player, right?

Well, FP actually was a player, so he does have that background knowledge.

Love FP and think he does a great job. He has a subtle sense of humor sometimes which some people might not get.

There is nothing subtle about his moronic, juvenile sense of humor.

Our family recently got a curly-haired mountain beagle puppy, just like FP pointed out at Pups-in-the-Park in June. Great puppy and highly recommended for families with young kids or someone with dog allergies.

I cannot stand him. Really one of the worst color guys in the league. I'm not a Bob Carpenter fan, but at least he's a competent professional. FP is just awful, and it is abundantly clear that Carpenter does not care for him, either.

Not everybody gets his humor.

We love FP, Bob, and Dan at our house. We're always sad when ESPN does the game because we miss the regular team of broadcasters.
