Yah poor areas are just as nice and have equal or less crime and anybody who says the the contrary is a nazi. I guess all those people paying top dollar to avoid those areas just like paying extra money and are clueless to your enlightenment. Next thing you are going to tell me is you have a fool proof way of going swimming without getting wet.

What are you talking about? NP, don't live there, but DTSS which is the area being discussed is not poor. |
| My sibling has actually lived in the apartment you mention 2xs since graduating college. She initially lives on the Easly street side and then moved to the Thayer side. She enjoys living in downtown silver spring with her small can't. The lobby was renovated about 4 years ago. The biggest pain is parking although the places comes with a garage. |
| The person talking about the apartments isn't talking about sow town silver spring. Downtown silver spring is surrounded by some pretty rundown places. If you are in 20910 in the triangle between colesville rd, Georgia avenue and the 410 b4 the community college you are pretty safe. There are a lot of bad places as you approach new Hampshire, eastwest highway etc. |
| Born and raised in down town Silver Spring.I love walking to metro and urban life.My Dh and I just bought a place and I know we over paid and We don't care.It is not for everyone!! |
