Trump-related sign at Wood Acres Elementary?

Anonymous

Hmm. Still funny.
Puerile, too. If school was in session, the students would laugh their heads off.

I have to agree. Aren't those message boards usually locked anyway?

OP said the email said it was broken into

Agree that it is terrible, but I'm laughing at myself sitting here rearranging the letters trying to figure out what the sign said beforehand. "Summer" has 3 of the 5 letters you need to spell "Trump". They didn't have to use all of the letters, but you need a T and a P in the rest of the message. "Have a good summer"? No. "Summer Break"? No. I give up.

School's out for the summer.

Umm, is there a playground there? Probably kids are still playing on the playground. And is there a summer camp there? KAH does camp at our school so there are a good amount of kids there for the summer.

Definitely a crappy thing to do. Like Trump or not, he's the president. Pretty obnoxious.

Ours always says something about Be Safe and Read. Not sure where the T and P would have come from either!

It was an anti-Trump sign, otherwise it wouldn't be considered offensive.

But still kind of funny they broke into the message board. I've wanted to rearrange some of those church signs...

Really? I'd be offended by a pro-Trump sign.

There is no camp there. The Wood Acres community has a pool. All of the kids are there. No kids were traumatized.

You'd also need a W. Mystery!

Okay. Someone on here has to know what the sign said before.

Y'all with your "hate Trump/I'm too morally correct to wish him ill" sanctimony are funny.

My husband (who works within law enforcement in Mont. County) said that they used the metal letters in their message & normally the letters that are used in those signs are the flimsy plastic ones.

It sounds like they came prepared with their own store bought letters, so it sounds premeditated & not a drunken teen joke as they happen to be walking by the sign (although the language tends to point at teens ("ew"??).

No need to worry that children were traumatized by this.
It was done late overnight & a neighbor who was walking their dog in the early morning hours saw the message & removed it before anyone else could see, then they called the police.

Ironic this was done in a closet Republican neighborhood!

Thanks for posting. If it really was adults who came and did this with store bought letters, it just seems pretty pathetic to me. Really?
