If your spouse has helped you develop and thrive in your career, what his he/she done?

Mostly DH has encouraged me to have confidence and trust my instincts. I got my job because someone well-respected referred me and the job I got was two rungs higher than I was qualified for on paper.

Another thing he does is listen to me vent and picks out the parts of what I'm saying that are okay to say to someone at work and which parts are too mean/angry to say outside our house. (I'm a WASP and my instinct is to be passive-aggressive, so he's toned down the aggressive to assertive and squashed the passive.)
