I personally have zero respect for its users. I realize there are some people with legit medical issues but the vast majority, it seems, just don't want to put in the work to get fit. They WANT a diagnosis so they have an excuse.

I am using it right now and don't give a flying F whether you respect me or not. Your judgmental ass judges me when I'm fat and sick too I'm pretty sure. I tried for years to do it on my own and failed. My doctor suggested it (I didn't even know it was an option) and for the first time in years I'm eating healthy, working out, lost 20 lbs and have 60 lbs to go. So go just go F&** yourself!!!

The Phentermine gives you the discipline to eat healthy and work out?

It gives me the extra push. It's not like I don't get hungry at all. I do. But I can make a choice to eat a little less and a healthier option vs. scarfing down a burger and fries. Phentermine definitely gives you more energy (I mean it's speed) so it's easier to get off your butt and work out.

Exactly. Exaxtly why PPs are saying they judge you. I don't get it. If someone straight up told you they were snorting coke because it helped them lose weight, would your response still be so visceral??

But I'm not snorting coke. Snorting coke is not FDA approved you moron. This is!!! It's under the supervision of my GP PRESCRIBED BY MY GP. Or are you really that stupid?

Taking off this edge has made all the difference in my weight loss. I've lost about 30 pounds in the last three months. I'm building and healthy habits and I know that when I cycle off the medication I'm going to have to have change my life style and approach to food.

Judge if you want, I really don't care. When you are overweight and stuck in a cycle where you can't break out, a boost like this can make all the difference. The confidence I have now and the new habits I've built will help me to not gain the weight back.

I focused on changing my food choices, getting more comfortable with the feelings of hunger, eating intentionally and focusing on plant based foods and healthy protein sources, walking every day, lifting weights, drinking water, avoiding processed carbs.

I'm not foolish enough to think it's going to be easy to keep the weight off when I stop taking medication. However I am committed to a lifestyle change and I think that gives me a fighting chance.

Hello fellow user. You get it! I second everything you said.

Really poor analogy. Doctors are not prescribing coke for weight management. But if it were legal and approved for that, there would be no judgment from me. Are you judging people for taking high blood pressure medications and medications for diabetes? Because many times those diseases can be managed without pills too when eating differently and exercise.

This is pretty much the same analogy my doctor gave to me when she suggested phentermine. The medication is medically necessary for me now. She is not a pill pusher or diet doctor; but having tried unsuccessfully myself to lose weight, including therapy in the mix, she advised I add medication. She told me that I clearly needed some help to get me going, and if I combine that with intentional lifestyle changes, the odds for success were good.

Girl I am right there with you. Good luck on your journey. Only other thing I would add that I'm doing that seems to help is to weigh myself every other day. It shows me what types of foods and beverages are changing my weight one way or the other. It also keeps me accountable. If I slip up, I get back on track and I can see the effects of my choices. Having avoided the scale for so long this is a really powerful thing!

Your comments are becoming highly tedious and unimaginative. When your whole thread is started as nothing but judgement of others for their valid choices that do not affect you in any way then, yes, absolutely, it pisses me off to no end. So I will reiterate my earlier point GO F Yourself

I mean, YOU are the one who admitted it's speed...
Also, you are mistaking multiple different commenters who are all in agreeance for one person.

FDA approved medication prescribed by a doctor that basically mimics speeds, yes, I did. But, hey, continue to be ignorant. Your choice.
