I think they are based in Florida. So no, likely not.

I've seen bad teeth people of Walmart types waiting at the Orlando airport to ship doodles. More than once.

Meanwhile any breeder we've dealt with refuses to ship. One said if they want a dog they can drive or fly - large breed puppies fit in a carrier with a passenger in the main cabin.

So living in MD etc and getting a puppy shipped from FL or elsewhere is just BS.

I sell registered Australian Shepherd puppies for $500i saw an ad for $2,650!!!!! Same registration NSDR.
And rich people think the expensive dogs are somehow better. Why!!!!!??????

And we live close to Amish......”wholesome “? OMG that’s a joke

Puppy spot are scammers praying on the breeder and the customer. The breeders put their price on the puppy in a add that puppyspot writes knowing nothing about the puppy, and then up the price 2x's high then the breeder was asking. Then they give a year guarantee knowing the breeder will lose there money no them (puppyspot) so #1 you don't know the breeder your getting a puppy from and they say they only allow the "good" breeders but who nows. They are so vain they probably wrote there owe reviews too in my opinion.
It is always better to talk to the breeder feel them out so to speak, build a repur with the person raising your puppy they know more the PuppySpot. And you'll pay less also. So working with the breeder of your puppy is a win win forsure. Take it or leave it this is the truth.

Rescue dogs are just puppy mill dogs grown older. It’s hard to buy a dog. Who knew?

You keep getting scammed because the “breed” you are searching for is a scam. Legitimate Pomeranian breeders will not be breeding white teacup sized dogs. Teacup dogs are bred so small they universally have brain damage and health issues from trying to squeeze everything into small space. Just get a regular Pomeranian. If that’s too big, get a guinea pig.

Thousands of Amish live in Sarasota.

They are puppy mills.

I'm awaiting a litter this fall from a reputable breeder- $4500. The dogs are all AKC certified and you can see their bloodlines. There aren't many litters a year from reputable breeders, so it's not enough to fill the demand. We've always had this particular breed and the last dog we had was from a puppy mill. We weren't aware until we picked him up and then once we knew, we felt that we couldn't leave him there. Problem is that for my breed, puppy mills have exacerbated genetic conditions (how that dog died). Which is why we went direct to a breeder this time. For most breeders there are long waits. And yeah, they don't ship. Breeders look into your family and life situation. They also have contracts stating you'll spay/neuter (if not done already) and that you'll give the dog back if you can't keep it. Their dogs aren't ending up in the shelters, puppy mill dogs are.

I'm hoping pp was a joke and was being sarcastic. Those dogs have a lot of mental issues and often do die very young. Not healthy at all. There are plenty of real dogs in the 7-10lb range that don't have mental issues.

The prices are as high as the ones requested by dedicated breed-lovers who house their dogs in their own homes, because this organization needs to portray themselves as a legitimate concern, and low prices would immediately raise a red flag.

People are easily taken in by savvy marketing and don't bother to educate themselves on what really best for the dog:

- The puppy should be born in the owner's house, with his mother in close attendance for at least 7-8 weeks, and socialized from day 1 with safe dogs and humans. No kennels.

- The parents and grandparents, at minimum (the best breeders can go as far back as 5 generations) are known by the owner and followed throughout their lives for genetic diseases and personality issues, to breed only the healthiest and most personable among them. This organization only talks about puppy health and vaccinations, which only means that for the first 7-12 weeks of their lives, no diseases appeared. And since hip dysplasia and other scourges become visible later in life, that "health guarantee" means NOTHING.

Yes, I could have written this.

This is nothing more nor less than a puppy mill, OP. They are charging high prices to disguise that fact.
